I must compliment you on the website. The content is always fresh, the site looks and feels good and is easy to navigate. Fine work! - Grant Botes- 10 Oct. 2009
The GIS system is a really great idea! An overlay showing "electrical zones" - different areas that fall under various electrical substations on the map, would be very useful for residents when the municipality plans electrical maintenance, and when outages occur. Keep up the good work! – Swen Gustaffson – 3 Oct. 2009
Firstly, thanks very much for getting back to me -- much appreciated. I have had a look at the attachment. I think the instructions for paying using Internet banking should be clearer. If I just pay into that account, how will you know that it was me who paid. I’m guessing I’m meant to put some number in the reference field. Is this so? If so, I really think it should be stated. It cannot be assumed that people will all do the right thing. Once again, thanks for getting back to me. Very refreshing.- Peter Jukel - 13 Aug. 2009
The website looks wonderfu and very attractive it makes me to want to spend more time, great site here we come 2010 and beyond - Pierre van Rooyen, Kwanda - 7 Aug.2009
A business man from Gauteng has just phoned in for a chat with Dr Chabula-Nxiweni and he has complimented the professional, beautiful and user-friendly website that has been designed for NMBM. He said that it is a pity that the rest of Africa did not have the same professional to do their website. -19 June 2009
Thanks for this excellent public service. As an Architect I am very happy to see things moving in this direction. It is great that the World Cup has taken things to this level. I am sure that now the Metro can start placing more planning information onto the GIS for Architects, Town Planners and Developers. Durban has a similar system which has help me do work in that city remotely from Port Elizabeth. Please keep going. Regards - Shaun Balshaw - 12 May 2009
Congratulations on launching the GIS Mapping website, it is very impressive. Whom at the municipality my I contact to discuss availability of the underlying shapefiles? Or are they published on an FTP site anywhere? Kind regards - Grant Slater - 2 April 2009
What an informative and user-friendly website. Well done. Thanking you - Sthembele Cape Town - 1 August 2008
Many, many thanks for your Email. To be honest, I never expected a reply - in my experience, these generic, front-end web query / comments pages are usually never managed properly by corporates and especially with banks, in the end, you end up phoning, often at great cost.- Paul Sutcliffe MBA CA (SA) Beit Binzagr, Saudi Arabia - 3 June 2008
I think it’s a fantastic initiative to start the ’Go Green’ project. I will definitely use it! Thanks to NMMM for assisting to reduce landfill. -Tammy Wilson - 8 May 2008
Thank you very much for the prompt and detailed response - it is very much appreciated. Your explanations make sense. The loadshedding is an inconvenience, but I am very proud of the way that it is implemented in the metro. It is well organised and one can plan accordingly. Listening to the complaints from friends around the country, we are fortunate to have well oiled loadshedding machine running in PE. Your efforts are appreciated by a lot of us - keep up the good work under trying circumstances. - Gilbert Valentyn -17 April 2008
You are a ray of hope and bring back the confidence I was rapidly loosing with the Municipality. It would seem that I am OK and will download firefox and try again.-Pete Keulemans - 27 March 2008
Good job on keepin the website updated with respect to load shedding, it really helps with planning and is appreciated thanks -K Moodley - 25 Jan 2008
Well done on the new website for NMB. It’s concise, easy to navigate and very neat and informative...everything a good communications platform should be. Well done. Neil Campher Executive Director Ukuvula Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd - 26 Sept. 2007
Congratulations, vastly improved and faster website, except that the one question I wanted an answer to, although listed under Q&A’s on the Road, Transport page happened to be the one question with a blank space for an answer viz: Where do I report problems concerning street sweeping, clearing of bush, overgrowth and rubbish in the road reserves? Can you please address this oversight. Anne Calcutt - 23 Aug. 2007 - thank you for your comments, the relevant contact details have been updated.
No map on your website! I’m a tourist trying to find information! P Jordaan - 18 Aug. 2007 - please visit the Information Center - Media Library- Maps
