Lighting Innovations, one of the country’s leading manufacturers of a range of light fittings, announced an investment of R60 million in a new plant in Greenbushes, Nelson Mandela Bay.

According to the company, operational expenditure (year 1 to 5) is valued at R77, 4 million. The investment is set to create 80 to 100 new jobs in the Bay. The investment is the culmination of intense negotiations between the city and Lighting Innovations which began June 2011.
