Rosedale, Jansendal, Newville, Vanes Estate, Thomas Gamble and Gerald Smith are some of the areas affected by the planned interruption of electricity supply to carry out geophysical underwater testing tomorrow (Wednesday, July 11).

Even though supply will be disconnected between 11am and 4pm, residents are cautioned to consider installations in all premises as “live” during these hours as there is no guarantee that supply will be off during the whole period stated.

It is also vitally important that we note that no back-up generators or any other source of standby power may be used during this time.
