Notice is given in terms of Section 47 of the above Act that the Council has received an application for the removal of title conditions applicable to Erf 44, Mangold Park.

 

(1)        REMOVAL OF RESTRICTIONS APPLICATION IN TERMS OF THE SPATIAL PLANNING AND LAND USE MANAGEMENT ACT, 2013 (ACT 16 OF 2013) : ERF 238,        SUMMERSTRAND

(2)        APPLICATION FOR COUNCIL’S SPECIAL CONSENT (SC 206/2017) : ERF 238, SUMMERSTRAND

Notice is given in terms of Section 47 of the above Act that the Council has received an application for the removal of restrictive title deed conditions applicable to Erf 238, Summerstrand, to permit the property to be developed.

 

The Council has also received an application for its Special Consent for a special use to permit a guest house with a maximum of 9 guestrooms on the property.

 

Furthermore, the Council has received an application for a Zoning Scheme Departure to permit the relaxation of the building lines in order to allow the property to be developed.

Notice is given in terms of Section 47 of the above Act that the Council has received an application for the removal of title conditions applicable to Erf 416, Algoa Park.

Notice is given in terms of Section 47 of the above Act that the Council has received an application for the removal of title conditions applicable to Erven 2742 and 2743, Korsten.

 

Furthermore the Council has received an application for its Special Consent to permit a scrap yard on the subject properties.

 

TOWN PLANNING AMENDMENT 9194 : REZONING OF ERF 1570, NEWTON PARK ( 55 THIRD AVENUE) (CF17/01570) (SN)

 

The Council has received an application for an amendment to the Port Elizabeth Zoning Scheme by the rezoning of Erf 1570, Newton Park from Residential 1 purposes to Business 3 purposes to permit the property to be used for such purposes.

(2)        TOWN PLANNING DEPARTURE 4624 : ERF 4260, CENTRAL

The Council has received an application for an amendment to the Port Elizabeth Zoning Scheme by the rezoning of Erf 4260, Central from Residential 3C to Special purposes.

 

The Council has received an application for a Town Planning Departure to depart from parking requirements.

Any person wishing to object to these proposals must submit his objections in writing to the Executive Director: Human Settlements, PO Box 9 , Port Elizabeth 6000 on or before 9 October 2017.

 

 

ENCROACHMENT : NORTH END

 

BALCONY ENCROACHMENT PORTION OF ERF 1253, NORTH END, SITUATE AT BAGSHAW STREET, NORTH END (CF18/01253) (Ref. 188)

 

The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality is considering entering into an encroachment agreement with the owner of Erf 1253, North End to encroach onto a portion of the Road Reserve, subject to certain conditions.

 

Any encroachment to be concluded shall be subject to the provisions of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, No. 56 of 2003, the NMBM Policy and Procedures for the Disposal of Immovable Capital Assets, incorporating the NMBM Immovable Property Disposal Directives.

 

The closing date for objections and/or expressions of interest is 9 October 2017.
