(TRAFFIC AND LICENSING
SERVICES)

TASK
Grade 12 (R384 408 – R534 444 per annum)
(Basic
salary only, excluding benefits)
Qualifications
and experience required:
·
Traffic
Officer Diploma – ITO 3 or equivalent.
·
Trainers in the following disciplines to be registered
in terms of the National Road Traffic Act (Act 29 of 1989).
(i)
Traffic Officer Training - Registered as a Traffic
Officer.
(ii)
Examiner of Driving Licences - "A” Grade Examiner of
Drivers Licences.
(iii)
Examiner of Vehicles - "A” Grade Examiner of Vehicles.

Physically fit.
·
Computer
literacy - MS Office Applications.
·
Occupational
directed Certificate.
·
Education,
Training and Development Practitioner qualification.
·
Two
to three years’ relevant experience.

skills.
- Budgeting
skills.
Job purpose:
- Planning and directing
training and the development of course material.
- Directing the
procedural and operational dimensions of selecting, coordinating and
providing training to law enforcement officials and volunteers.
- Monitoring impact on
organisational efficiency and progress towards self development and growth
within the organisation.
As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any
requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening,
security vetting and psychometric assessment.
