No, fees are charged in terms of Council’s Tariff of Charges, which are determined annually. 

Yes, all the fire-fighting courses are registered and accredited with the Local Government Sector Education and Training Authority, as well as the International Fire Services Accreditation Congress. Companies will be eligible to claim training fees from the SETA if training was done at the Centre.

Yes, course curricula include training in practical proficiency and physical fitness.

All fire-fighting courses are presented at the NMBM Operational Training Centre, Ranger Street, Markman Industria, Port Elizabeth. Off-site courses may be presented on request.
