The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality will on Thursday, 22 October 2020, reopen the Koedoeskloof waste disposal site.

This comes after a fire broke out on Tuesday night at the site leading to its closure on Wednesday, 21 October 2020.

The NMBM teams managed to partially abate the fire at the site on Wednesday as a result it will reopen whilst the teams continue to deal with the remaining fire debris.

Residents are cautioned of smoke however the City can assure that everything is under control and a disposal area for Thursday has been created.

We would like to thank residents for their cooperation and understanding in this matter.
Any other unforeseen situation will be communicated in the same platform.
