A planned water distribution shutdown will take place 03 October 2024 at (08:00-17:00)
The above mentioned works will take 8 hours and water tankers will be made available should there be a need.
It is estimated that should there be water disruptions, Salsoneville Bethelsdorp will be affected.

ELECTRICITY DISRUPTION UPDATE.
Tuesday , 24 September 2024.
The Municipality wishes to inform residents that an 11kV circuit breaker has tripped at Aloes/Wells Estate 1 substation. The power supply at Bluewater Bay, Wells Estate and surrounding areas is affected.
Staff are attending to the fault however, there is no timeframe available. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.
A major burst has been experienced at Ponana Toni Street (Kwanobuhle) last night.
Water disruptions are being experienced and plumbers are on site to repair.
Water trucks will be provided for water continuity.
We apologise for the inconvenience.
Water supply disruption in the Heatherbank Reservoir Zone
Water supply is affected to the below areas, due to low reservoir levels:
• Fairview
• Overbaakens
• Springfield
• ?Charlo

Residents that do have water are please requested to reduce consumption and not stockpile.
POWER OUTAGE IN MOTHERWELL

Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality wishes to inform residents that a 22kv circuit breaker at Motherwell Main has caused a loss of power supply in NU 29, Booster Pumps and surrounding areas.
A team has been informed to do investigations and repairs.
